Relaunched as Lakeshore Cinema Cafe on May 31, 2002 with “The Rookie” and “Panic Room”. During its final days as the Mikadow, it was known as Mikadow Cinema before its closure on September 13, 1992 with “Pet Sematary II”.

This opened as a newsreel theater on October 11, 1934, and began screening Soviet films (plus American extras at rare occasions) he following year on October 26, 1935.

This didn’t last long, and the theater began screening American mainstream films when it was renamed the Fulton Playhouse the following year on October 26, 1936 reopening with “Mr. Deeds Goes To Town” and “The 39 Steps” (unknown if extras added).
