Here is some information about the performing arts center: http://tinyurl.com/5ugcwd
No trace of this theater when I drove by the location today.
I just drove by this theater today. I pointed it out to my wife, along with the Southside and the Congress. Kind of a mini-CT tour.
Sorry about that. There is now a Goodwill store on the first floor, so retail would be the appropriate function.
Which island is this? I saw an open multiplex on the north side of Oahu last year. That was in a shopping center as well.
Sure looks that way. Nobody’s perfect.
The two buildings look the same.
I agree. I don’t know which one is more up to date. The Google photo showed Potzcuaro’s Restaurant, or something close to that.
No se.
Here is a recent picture. The image is not the best, unfortunately. http://tinyurl.com/6rmf42
If this listing is up to date, the building is currently occupied by a Mexican restaurant. http://tinyurl.com/5r49r4
The floor plan is on the indoor climbing site: http://www.thrillseekers.cc/qtvr.php
I took a look at the plaques on Saturday. I guess they buried one every year around Oscar time.
Plans are afoot to turn the Del Rio into a community arts center: http://tinyurl.com/5arkwm
Here are some photos from the church website: http://tinyurl.com/6b7b7a
The church is no more. Building is vacant and for sale.
Bal Harbor doesn’t seem to exist. Perhaps Bay Harbor?
The San Fernando Redevelopment Agency discussed plans to renovate the building back in June 2006. I don’t know if anything became of that. http://tinyurl.com/59eo4s
The correct address is 2948 W. Hopkins.
Click on “map” after the address at the top of the page. When you see the photo on the map page, the theater is to the right.
The State can be seen on the right on this circa 1970 photo: http://tinyurl.com/6gkdn6
The marquee is now gone, as is the blue paint seen in the preceding photo.
I noticed that. I’m not commenting on the shots that are taken a block away or otherwise are ambiguous.
OK. That’s in the picture, but Google has it at 66 Kearny.
