Across the river in Augusta, The FOX DRIVE IN in Aiken is playing A FINE PAIR,like the SKYVIEW DRIVE IN. However, instead of an Elvis second feature THE FOX has Gregory Peck in THE STALKING MOON. The ad says two first runs!

I had read this was one of the worst movies made in the 60’s and good old Daniel Village got stuck with it. In the ritzy neighborhod near Daniel Village i think it was safe to say that CHE! died a quick death. Rated M. {no GP rating yet.}

All i was saying or meaning to is NATIONAL HILLS was the only theatre in town that ran 70mm. Heck, I have a section of 70mm print from SOUND OF MUSIC. At National Hills like i guess Certain theatres in the states had the MGM 70mm MOVIE line up: RYAN'DAUGHTER, SOUND OF MUSIC, GONE WITH THE WIND,and 2001. Seemed like every fall those classics would hit town. Of the four 2001 was the only one i cared about, Too many crazy old white ladies would come To SOUND OF MUSIC and would complain about the theatre being Too HOT or COLD, TOO loud or offened by a trailer. I hated It.

Somewhere on COLUMBIA SQUARE CINEMAS, Which i wish read COLUMBIA 1 and 2 theatres I tell a story of about a 2 inch snow that closed up this city,But we were on the Screen and while no one showed up for COLUMBIA ONE, in COLUMBIA TWO we had the animated LORD OF THE RINGS and doggone it 6 or 7 people showed up. WE did not have a 9:20 showing. SNOW SHOULD NOT STOP YOU TENNESSEE FOLKS !

YEAH, Often at REGENCY 1.2.3. on the last show we would cut the bulb off and run the print.I think we did that one or two times at COLUMBIA 1 and 2. Personally, that is the way i enjoy watching a movie. I remember watching Woody Allen’s SMALL TIME CROOKS all alone in a Regal theatre here.
