At this point, you can pretty much call that area “StorageScape”, knowing what some theaters do to decommissioned space.
Again, I love that classic Regal logo.
It’s do weird seeing mural this after seeing the “cloud” version of it at Sawgrass.
You are correct.
It caught me off-guard when I first saw it back in 2005. It didn’t help that the film we saw broke.
They have this in Auditorium 10 of Regal Sawgrass 23.
This looks great!
They did a pretty good job compressing it. Thanks for checking the pics out.
Is that moon working?
Is that one of the “satellite” concession stands in the background.
The “City” motif this theater has is pretty cool.
For a retrofit IMAX, this one has a decent-sized screen.
Is that door and gate in the center for the concession area?
Is this one of Regal’s “flagship” theaters?
Indeed. I was quite shocked when I initially saw this. If they are not going to rebulb these, they should at least install a recessed light beside it, much like the medium-sized rooms.
Can’t wait to see those. I’m especially looking forward to the one for Hollywood 27.
You are correct about Auditorium 2 and 12. Theater 17 has the lighthouse mural.
Does anyone have photos of this theater back when it had 18 screens?
@greenth1ng I believe Sawgrass has this in Auditorium 15, which seats (approximately) 300.
Back to RPB 18, I’ll try to get more pics of this theater (as well as mural shots) when I go back on Friday.
The mural looks great from this angle.
This theater is currently being turned into a shooting range, aptly called “Regal Range.”
Even though this is one of the theater’s smallest auditoriums, this is not a bad size.
AMC recently acquired this theater.
I’d like to see that.
This is still just such a cool exterior.
