This opened as Carmike 7 on September 30th, 1988 by Carmike Cinemas and expanded to 10 screens in 2006. It was taken over by AMC Theatres in 2016 and renamed AMC Rapid City early in 2017. The opening of this cinema forced the Northgate and Rushmore cinemas to close down. I have uploaded the grand opening ad in the photo section.
This opened as the Rapids Drive-In on July 31st, 1952 and closed down at the end of the 1957 season. It reopened as the Pines Drive-In on March 31st, 1961. Both grand opening ads in the photo section.

B&B Hastings Imperial 3 Theatres has closed its doors and was clearing out the contents of the building Monday morning.
A hired mover at the theater said Monday morning he was informed Friday of the closure and believes Sunday was the last business day…..
