“Restored” or “renovated” can hardly be used in the same sentence that describes the TEXAS as it stands as of November 2007.
Take a look at the comments and photos posted on Cinema Treasures and it becomes obvious that the TEXAS has become a shell of its former self.
It took 3.5 million to do this!?

The city of Dallas can’t even restore a pot hole. The rumor of a reopening is several years old.
Take a look a some of the previous comments. Money is going down a black hole somewhere.
Also take a look at the pictures, past and present. The TEXAS has become a mere shell of its former self.
