Cinemark Theatres operated this theater from 5/10/1996 to 9/14/2006. The theater was traded for the Starplex Stadium 12 in Lufkin to avoid anti-trust issues arising from the purchase of Century Theatres. It opened as Tinseltown USA 16 in 1996.
This opened in 1987. It is one of the first theatres to be built by Cinemark.
