An original view of the entrance foyer of the newly opened Paramount, taken 6th September 1937. The Paramount had been equipped with many fine examples of decorative glass in the form of mirrors, engraved glass door panels and decorative windows. The above photograph shows the entrance walls covered with pink mirrors, as also the wall above the entrance doors. All mirrors and glazing were manufactured and installed by Pugh Brothers Ltd Compton Street London EC1.
