The late night owls of the Galleria were the General Cinema, the skating rink (open till 11p daily at its November 18, 1970 launch) and the hotel. Fortunately, the lower level was designed to connect with the hotel and late night entry and exit - especially helpful on Sundays - was considered in design stage.
