Pix Theatre 18 Buckley Street, Melbourne, VIC
Noble Park Public Hall 18 Buckley Street, Melbourne, VIC - Later to become the Pix Theatre.
In 1913, local landowners Alan Frank Buckley and Charles Luxford sold Crown land allotments to be subdivided into smaller farming settlements. They donated one of these allotments to the residents of Noble Park to build a public hall, this lead to the construction of a timber hall.
By the 1920s, a more substantial brick structure was built with the help of the Dandenong Shire Council. The hall has been owned by the residents of Noble Park through a trust and has served various purposes, including public meetings, dances, cinema and community events.
