The 'Cinema' Sevenoaks
The circle foyer was fairly plain and subdued with illumination provided by a series of diffused white opal glass light fittings fixed at ceiling level between the circle entrances and above the cloakroom area. Main decoration was provided by various metal designs such as the main staircase balustrades at either end, the highlight undoubtedly was the Restaurant Cafe areas which had been completely screened off by three 10ft high glazed metal framed sections, the centre for entrance doors and one section fixed either side. The chromed metal work applied had the illusion that it was in one long length, however, these were sectional and templates were used to drill various holes in the glass to hold the chrome work in place.
