Prior to the construction of Burlington’s Plaza Theater in 1927, the site was occupied by the “Badger Hotel Annex” that was moved there in 1874 from the corner of West Chestnut Street to make way for the construction of the Jones House Hotel on that corner.
This photo taken in early 1920 shows the Annex, as well as the Agner Auto building at left which is now occupied by The Track at Burlington Hobbies.
