The film ‘Fire Over England’ was a lavish production by Alexander Korda founder of London Films with his Brother Zoltan. Starring a host of stage actors including Flora Robson, Laurence Olivier and Vivian Leigh. Above photograph showing Flora Robson as Queen Elizabeth I in one of the many costumes worn by her designed by Rene Hubert. This particular photograph was for costume lighting, looking closely top right can be seen the edge of a baby film spotlight used to highlight detail, whilst to the left of the throne in view is a large arc light used for back lighting.
