Bad news if you are looking to try out the double-screened Oxford Theatre… it’s converted to a clothing store after the cinema idea failed (ad at left). Equally bad news if you want to visit the former home of the Oxford Theatre because the Union Terminal project led to the demolition of lots of commercial properties including the Public Clothes (formerly housing the Oxford) in 1925 (ad explains it at right).
