Founder, William “Becky” Beck, at the drive-in, in 1948 or after, in his 1938-1940 Ford.

The photo was taken anytime in 1948 or later, because the right wing of the movie screen was blown off from lightning - Thanks to Brian Mohan for the info on the automobile in the photo.
