This is Majestic “3.5”… When Majestic Owner Houston Bowers died unexpectedly on December 29, 1915, his brother found a successor in dry goods store owner R.E. Kennington in April of 1916. Kennington drew up plans to modernize the theatre (as seen above) and - as Kennington’s Majestic Theatre - would promptly be gutted by fire in January of 1917.
