Orson Welles: A Case Study (1946)
In the early 1970’s, the TV station, Ch 4 then call letters WLW-C, on Saturday nights, after the late evening news, had all-night long movie presentations until sunrise on Sunday. All of the movies were from RKO Radio released in the thirties, forties, and early fifties. This is where I first saw “The Stranger.” Source: Columbus Dispatch, July 24, 1946.
