Before It was re named ‘Skyview’ this classic drive in located in Santa Cruz CA was named the ‘Encina Drive-In Theatre’. Here is a big newspaper ad from Sunday June 17 1956 from my ‘Terry Photo’ movie theatre ad collection. This is when the ‘Encina’ was just a big single screen. The place is still up except for the marquee and screen (Aug 2026) About to be turned into a hospital.
