The 2007 Italian film by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani “The Lark Farm” (La masseria delle allodole) dealt with the horrors inflicted by the Turks on ethnic Armenians during the infamous 1915 genocide and on one family in particular. It was shown at the Columbus (Uptown) Theatre in August 2009 as a program of the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
