Cold Chisel played a two-night stint at the Queen Street venue on October 8 and October 9, 1982, billed as the “Black & White Party Ball”. (this was not the final performance at Her Majesty’s)

The final performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre actually took place over a year later on 16 October 1983, marked by the Lord Mayor’s Command Performance before the historic building was demolished.
