When Carmike opened, it was originally a hybrid theater, with three houses serving as both digital and 35mm.
The picture was a crisp 1080p in 2006. The projectors were never upgraded, and in latter years the bulbs were dimmed to reduce costs. The picture suffered greatly and was a contributor to the theater’s closure.
