35mm “coming attractions” strips
Image - 35mm “coming attractions” strips, also known as “trailerettes” or “coming attractions trailers”, are short promotional clips that were traditionally shown before feature films in movie theaters to advertise upcoming releases. These strips consisted of a series of 35mm film frames, typically containing a single, striking image along with a musical soundtrack and brief text. “Trailerettes” typically ran for around 10 seconds.
