The first movie shown at the Del-Van Theatre in its adult exhibition goes right to trial in 1973 (ad at top) and five months later, Charles Thomas had produced $90,000 in box office receipts but lost his lawsuit. That forced him to “shut” the theater to normal traffic and he created an adult film club that required $2 annual fee to come in (ad at right). Also included is the final ad with DDD2 and Deep Throat"
