In the huge lobby of the Oakland Paramount they have a glass display case with many items from this classic former cinema. They rotate the collections from time to time. I plan on donating some of my collection to them someday. This print photo is from the opening week in Dec 1931. My grandmother and mom went to the opening night and told me about it. They were first in line. Must have been a great night for moviegoers in Oakland way before TV hit.
