My family in the early 1960s went to the Bel-Air on two occasions: once to see “To Kill a Mockingbird” and another time to see Jerry Lewis as “The Patsy.” The coming attractions on one visit included “Dr. No.” I wasn’t overly impressed with wanting to see the film. It was decades later before I saw “Dr. No” on VHS. But my father did take us to see “From Russia with Love” and later “Gpldfinger” in neighborhood theaters.
