June 11, 1954, the Park Drive-in opened with it’s new CinemaScope screen. The original 54'x54' screen was increased to 86' to enable the showing of CinemaScope movies. “The Robe” was the first movie shown on the new screen. This photo shows the old and new screen during it’s construction.
