CinemaScope’s arrival at the Allen launched on November 19, 1953 as Cleveland’s second CinemaScope house, with its first being the Hippodrome one month prior.
The Allen Theatre’s CinemaScope curved screen measures 32x53ft that extends from one side of the stage proscenium to another, compared to the Allen’s original 17x24ft screen beforehand.
