Centre Gardens and Hall Archibald Street and Winnacott Street, Willagee, WA (Another view)

Brenda Pittman writes - They had movies in a shed down at webber. That was the hub for willagee park people and the immigrant builders. 19th. Because it was so popular the owner of the land in Archibald street built the outdoor movie theatre. It only lasted about 5 years as TV was invented. Shame really I loved it.

Prior to that we went to Hampton road to see the movies with mum and dad. I have some news clippings from when it was built in willagee. It is also in the book I wrote “Willagee Way”.
