Approximate address is 337 Magnolia Drive, Raleigh, MS 39153. The snack-bar may still exist as the building in the middle of the lot. Was also closed by 1966. Looks like the site is used as storage for school buses.

The site is still being maintained because the grass is still mowed, also if you look on Google St view you can still see the ORIGINAL screen in ruins behind the trees. So they never removed the original screen.

Yep the ticket booth was still standing as of 2012 on Google Street View also back in 2008 the shelter over the ticket booth was there but gone by 2012. Also the snackbar appears to still exist and is being used as the office for the Budget Homes business on the site.

The site is now advertised as a storage space with a mix of warehouses, covered storage (which is probably what the above person thinks are trailers) and open area. The ramps, snackbar, screen and roadside marquee still exist as of June 2019. The screen looks like it could display a film tomorrow, it’s in great condition.

Looks like the snackbar has been demolished but the screen and marquee are still there. The site is now Perks Auto Parts and Salvage.

For some reason that street number doesn’t work on google maps, if you use 3038 instead it goes to the site.

Some more info: it opened on June 22nd 1951 with “Connecticut Yankee and King Arthur’s Court”, two unnamed cartoons and a short called “Unusual Occupation”. It also had a walk-in area with seats and a children’s playground. Seems to have closed after the 1965 season.

Historic Aerials shows a small drive-in there in 1956 at the address of 633 US-90, Defuniak Springs, FL 32433. It’s now Consolidated Ace Hardware, could this be the site?

Florence Way is actually the name of the old entrance/exit roads used for the condo development, that’s a more accurate address IMO.

A 1980 aerial shows it as closed with the only ramps left, it was closed before 1981.

Approximate address is actually 2083 Naco Hwy, Bisbee. Remains of the ramps can still be seen along with the partial foundation of the concession building and what appears to be the screen base. Site is vacant and for sale, see link of the listing below:

Looks like it was closed by 1963, it appears derelict in an aerial photo from that year.

Was still standing in 1981 with screen, long time to be closed before demolition. The lot is now vacant and for sale.

Its possible that the concession building still exists, there is a building that has remained in the same spot and same size. It can partially be viewed when zoomed in on google street view.

A more accurate address for Google is 1824 AL-87, Samson AL 36477. This directs to a property directly across the road from the drive-in.

kennerado commented about Fan Drive-In on Nov 24, 2019 at 1:22 am

The drive-in stood derelict with the ramps, roads, base of marquee and brick wall remaining until 2015 when the site was redeveloped. Now an Arby’s and a Loves Gas station are on the site. Google maps hasn’t been updated and still shows the old abandoned site.

The 2008 google street view shows the remains of the street sign/marquee. It was gone by 2013 but the base might still remain.

The concession building also still exists, it can be seen on google street view which was updated earlier this year with it still there. looks like the projection room was on top of the concession building, it has a second story room in the middle of the building.

Found this one, approximate address is 1303 Mine St, Nashville, AR 71852. Nashville Rural Water Association now occupies part of the site but you can still see some of the old ramps on Google Earth.
