Closing night in 1999. I was no longer working here regularly, but since I was there for the opening show as a customer, 7 Ups in 1973, I came by to see the end of the final movie, Cider House Rules, almost 26 years later. While there I took a moment to recreate the position I spent so much of my booth time in. The projectionist position stayed around here for as long as it did because after all of those years no two houses were alike each having been upgraded or repaired with used equipment from closed up GCC locations.

As a projectionist I probably worked more hours at this theater than any other which was nice since it was only five minutes from my house. By the time it closed the 13 traffic lights and massive increase in traffic made it a 25 minute drive. Lots of fine memories here both of the theater and the people in all positions that I worked with.
