The Sunset Drive-In was opened on March 30, 1950 with Rod Cameron in “The Plunderers”. By 1955 it was operated by Crescent Amusement Co. It was closed on October 16, 1977 with John P. Ryan in “It’s Alive” Now Prairie Farms Dairy.

An article in the 11/12/1977 edition of the Madisonville Messenger says that the drive-in closed on 10/16/1977 after showing “It’s Alive”.
