Unfortunately, the residents association plan didn’t come to anything, so listing by this name as a cinema, and as ‘open’ isn’t accurate. The building is still operating as the Mayfair Venue, as a weddings / events venue - eventually with planning permission.

The current dark grey frontage doesn’t really do a lot for the building (I’ve added a photo taken 23.3.24)

Google StreetView has been inside the Mayfair and the pictures are excellent. Go to [www.google.co.uk/maps] and search for “Mayfair Chadwell” then drag the orange man to the street or the blue circles on the building.

This cinema/bingo hall closed in June 2014. Fate of building as yet unknown.
