Kwun Chung Theatre

The Kwun Chung Theatre is in the Kwun Chung district on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.

The theatre is on the ground floor of a residential building. It has shown adult films since its opening on 22nd June, 1993.

The screen is at the street entrance end of the building, so cutomers ‘walk away’ from the screen when entering the auditorium. Films were last screened using video and DVD projection.

The Kwun Chung Theatre was the last adult movie theatre operating in Hong Kong. It was closed on 15th March 2011.

The adult films shown at the theatre came from the U.S.A.or from Japan, and they are all dubbed in the Cantonese dialect.
