The Muvico Thousand Oaks 14 opened on February 27, 2009. The theater features fourteen screens with stadium seating and 4K all digital projection in every auditorium. The two largest auditoria are outfitted with balconies featuring Muvico’s Premier seating and service. There is one additional all Premier seating auditorium and a specially branded Pepsi Max auditorium with reserved seating.
The theater offers “typical” concessions and an in-house restaurant, Bogart’s Bar & Grill, which features American cuisine and a full bar. The theater is located within The Oaks, an “open-air lifestyle expansion of the super-regional shopping center in affluent Ventura County.” It was taken over by Carmike Cinemas in November 2013.
