Tower Cinema

Located in the Townhill district of Swansea, the Tower Cinema opened in early-1938. It boasted a free car park that held 500 cars. It was independently operated. In around 1963, it was sold to new owners who closed it as a cinema, and they converted it into a bingo club and dance hall which operated until late-1986.

The building was then boarded up. Part of the building suffered damage in an arson attack in around 1992 and the Tower Cinema was demolished in the summer of 1994.
