Century Studio and Cine

Opened in October 1956, opposite the railway station "Gare des Guillemins", it was the third duplex to be openned in Belgium after the Avenue and Studio in Brussels in 1953, and the Midi-Minuit Cine in Liege in 1955.

Great commercial success’s were shown in this duplex, “Les Tricheurs” in 1959, “Fantomas” and “Goldfinger” in 1965. It became for a time the ABC Cinema in 1968 and it closed in 1984. One of them is now a fast food "gb quick" the nearby is a retail. The only thing that subsists on the name "Century is the "Cafe Taverne nearby.
