Opened in December 10, 1999, this 20 screen stadium-seating multiplex (with 2 digital projection screens, 1 of which has Real D 3D) serves the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and is located near the Montage mountain skiing resort, just off Interstate 80.
In January 2010, the theatre opened its newly remodeled XD theatre, Cinemark’s large screen format auditorium featuring digital projection, custom JBL sound system, plush seats and wall to floor to ceiling screen. The theatre is also scheduled for a complete digital conversion in early-2011, implementing state of art Barco 2K and 4K digital projection.
