The Bowman Theatre opened in 1946 with seating listed at 302. It was operated by Erickson Theatres at one time. It is located on S. Main Street at 1st SW just a couple blocks from the former Palace Theatre.
It was taken over and operated by the Steiner family in 1969-70. It was still operated by their extended family members until it closed on December 30, 2018 with “Creed II”.
