Cine Roca

The former theatre built by Mario Palanti in 1914 was demolished and a new cinema was constructed and opened on 19th May 1938. Seating was provided for 950 in the orchestra stalls and 850 in the balcony.

Now in the hands of an evangelic congregation and converted into their temple. Its funny what they did with the original name. Roca means rock so they add some letters in the original facade and now you can read ‘Jesus es mi roca’ (Jesus is my rock).
