News About This Theater

The Staunton Mall Cinema 6 appears to have opened around 1990 and was first operated by R/C Theaters. It became a part of the Regal chain in 1998. The theater’s owner terminated the lease arrangement with Regal in 2012, and the theater then became an independent operation. The future of the theater is uncertain, as the mall in which it is located has been on the decline for quite some time. On December 15, 2017 it was renamed Legacy Theaters Staunton. It was closed on December 4, 2020.
