The Isleta Theatre was opened December 23, 1948 and was operated by Marshall Brothers. All States Theatres renovated and renamed it Esquire Theatre on December 25, 1958. It was later acquired by Flach and Pierce of El Paso.

In 1959 it was acquired by Rudy Napoleone as a Spanish language theatre, and also featured live performances by Mexican film stars.

Closed in 1962, it was converted into grocery store. It has been demolished and is now a county park.
