This was another of what looks like 3 drive-in theaters in the Wilkesboro/North Wilkesboro area. The North Wilkesboro Drive-In was opened prior to 1953, when it was operated by R.B. Adams.
This drive-in can be mapped at 1751 Sparta Road, Mulberry, NC. I have an aerial photo from 1963, at which time the theater was still in operation.
From the aerials, all elements of this theater were still standing until as late as October, 2009. By the 2012 aerial, it appears the projection building, concession building and screen have all been demolished.

This theatre was actually the North Wilkesboro. I checked with a family member who grew up in the area.
