Located in Clipstone Village, a district 4 miles to the east of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The Ritz Cinema was opened in 1936, and was independently operated. It was designed by architectural firm Bocock & Kirk of Mansfield.
The Ritz Cinema was closed around 1959/1960. It became a function room and pub. It was demolished in 2017.

Alas, the Ritz is no more. It sat boarded up for a few years in the hope that someone would bring it back to some sort of use, but the bulldozers have now brought it down.
