The Monarch Theatre was open in 1926. It was wired with a RCA sound system in 1930. The theatre was remodeled in 1940 and renamed the Ozark Theatre. The Ozark Theatre seated 212 and was listed as closed in 1957.

This theatre was owned by George Karsch who was the owner of the Lead Belt Amusement Co. when it became the Ozark Theatre, by 1947 ownership changed to Edwards and Plumlee Theatres. They owned a number of thetres in the Lead Belt area.
