The Skylark Drive-In was located south of Leavenworth on Shrine Park Road and Eisenhower (formally Richardson) Road on the NW corner. It was opened in August 1949 when it was operated by Durwood Theatres of Kansas City.
Today, a Dillons stands in its place.

The July 16, 1949 issue of BoxOffice reported, “The Skylark Drive-In being erected by the Durwood circuit on Shrine Park road south of Leavenworth, Kas., was expected to be ready for opening by August 1.”
