The remaining facade after the fire

Located in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. The Corn Exchange was built in 1862 and was designed by architect Thomas Nicholson. It was mainly used as an entertainment venue. In 1922 it was converted into a cinema and was re-named New Theatre. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system. The proscenium was 18 feet wide, the stage 18 feet deep and there were two dressing rooms. It was destroyed by a fire in 1939.

Only the façade survives today.
