Globe Cinema

Located in Donnington to the north of Telford, Shropshire. The Globe Cinema was built for military C.O.D. personnel during World War II. It had a large flat floor which was often used for dances.

In 1979 it was converted into the Globe Bingo Club, which still operates in 2015. The Globe Cinema is not listed in any editions of the Kinematograph Year Books.

TF2 8JS is the correct post code for the Globe, enjoying good business as it is now next to a newly built and opened Aldi supermarket.
