Located in the south Melbourne district of St. Kilda. The Paradise Picture Gardens opened in 1908. It was an open air theatre, operated by Johnson & Gibson. In 1911 it was taken over by Amalgamated Pictures (in 1913 they would become Greater Union). By 1913 it was operated by W.J. Lincoln. There were 600 seats in an enclosed area at the rear and 1,400 seats in the open-air. It was renamed Summerland Picture Gardens and in late-1914 was renamed Rivoli Theatre. It was closed in 1924 and demolished.

The Wattle Path Palais de Dance was built on the site which operated into the 1970’s. A Novotel now stands on the site.
