Located off the Highway 27 East in the small town of Locust Level, NC. The Locust Level Drive-In was opened by 1950 when it was operated by R.W. Barbee. By 1955 it was operated by Max Reinhardt and was closed later that year.

There is no “Locust Level, NC”. There is a Locust, NC which appears to be the right town because Highway 27 runs through it. So, the town name needs to be changed to “Locust”.
As far as the location of this drive-in, I have no idea. It’s short stay probably means that it was built over with no trace remaining.
