Located on the corner of Forrest Street & Roe Road. Capel Hall was built (and opened?) In 1911. The first movies were screened in(1920’s or 1930’s?). Movie screenings ceased in about 1964. In 1972 the hall burnt down when two little boys were playing with matches. And a new hall opened on the same site on 13th July 1974. The new hall had no bio-box and pictures were not screened there.
